Ron Sonntag Public Relations Bio and Profile
Ron Sonntag Public Relations was created in 1980 with the purchase of the company by Ron Sonntag from the former owner, who began the firm in 1971. Ron Sonntag had joined the firm in 1978 and became an equal partner in 1979. The firm has grown under the direction of Ron Sonntag and Executive Vice President Patty Johnson to become one of the foremost public relations and marketing firms in the area.

Ron Sonntag Public Relations specializes in assisting small to midsized companies with their overall marketing and public relations' needs, including publicity campaigns, media exposure, new product introductions and product publicity, marketing plans, Web site development and Internet marketing, direct mail, newsletters, brochures, videotapes, advertising, trade shows, specialty items, and overall marketing guidance.

RSPR's client base has encompassed technology, industrial rubber products, industrial parts, and plastics firms; food firms; financial organizations; packaging companies; home improvements; music companies and entertainers; printing firms; technical equipment and engineering firms; restaurants, senior living communities, a symphony orchestra, and a variety of companies in other industrial and retail sectors. The firm is likely the most experienced public relations firm in the world in marketing for the orthopedic segment called orthotics and prosthetics. RSPR also serves a number of disability-related firms and organizations and has written and produced numerous disability-related publications.

RSPR further is one of the most experienced firms in marketing special events, having handled various aspects of marketing, public relations, promotion, advertising, and media relations for Walt Disney's World On Ice, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring The Rockettes, Nickelodeon Live, Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, and music and food festivals including the Taste of Colorado, Taste of Minnesota, ChicagoFest, Milwaukee A La Carte, Memphis Musicfest, St. Paul RiverFest, Waukesha RiverFest, Kettle Moraine Jazz Festival, and numerous civic celebrations.

The RSPR approach is to maximize budgets through public relations and free publicity techniques, direct mailings, leveraging of expenditures to obtain added value, and creative marketing, rather than simply relying on spending dollars on advertising. This formula can work particularly well for firms that have somewhat restricted budgets but significant marketing needs.

Ron Sonntag Public Relations prides itself on establishing business relationships with clients that also turn into friendly personal relationships as well, making the workings together both productive and pleasant.
